Packaging Rooted in Tradition

Brand Designed by Tradition
This project focuses on the logo and packaging design for a fictional tea brand inspired by Turkish culture. I chose to base the concept on Turkey’s strong association with tea, as it is one of the leading exporters globally. For the logo, I developed a calligraphic wordmark paired with visual elements such as the Turkish star and a rich blue color palette to reflect cultural identity. The packaging design incorporates traditional Turkish patterns and textures, creating a cohesive and authentic visual system. To differentiate product offerings, I created a range of color variations for different flavors, each designed to appeal to the target audience. The project was finalized with the development of a point-of-purchase display and a sell sheet to support the brand in a retail environment.

Solidifying my love for cultural brand design
This project gave me the opportunity to design within a culture I was not initially familiar with. I found the process rewarding, as it allowed me to research and incorporate traditional patterns, textures, and colors in a way that felt both respectful and visually compelling.
